You will have understood , this first step constitutes the implementation of a "backcloth", on which I would work then, by adding mainly by collage, various elements which will come to punctuate and to give rhythm to this rough draft.

It will be the second step, where I like dressing my mini-book by varying techniques, I think moreover that it is there, the key to create a book visually interesting, to juxtapose and to associate various textures and/or techniques (paintings, type of papers, choice of patterns, writes in a decorative hand, etc.).

I like also decomposing this 2nd step into several parts, for it  I do not add all the additional elements at the same time, I take time to let "infuse". Because by taking a break, I can better visualize the harmony of the pages, and I can give of the coherence to the whole mini-book. But I show you it more in detail in my next post !
